Non banking financial company Arthan Finance Pvt. Ltd raised ₹50 crore ($6 million) in a series B round, the company said. 

The funds were raised from Incofin India Progress Fund and returning investor Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, the non-profit arm of Dell.

Founded by Kunal Mehta, Arthan Finance provides loans to self-employed micro-entrepreneurs. The company plans to use the fresh funds to fuel its expansion and technological progress.

The company operates in Maharashtra, Odisha, and Telangana.

The funding round will let the company increase its assets under management (AUM), expand its geographic reach, and invest in under-writing systems.
