Dassault ties up with Tata to make Rafale fuselage
Under the partnership, Tata Advanced Systems will set up a production facility in Hyderabad to make key structural sections of the Rafale, including the lateral shells of the rear fuselage
Tata Advanced Systems Ltd and France’s Dassault Aviation have signed four production transfer deals to make the Rafale fighter jet fuselage in India, the French planemaker said on Thursday, 5 June.
The deal is “a significant step forward in strengthening the country’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities and supporting global supply chains,” the company said, adding that the facility represents “its significant investment in India’s aerospace infrastructure and will serve as a critical hub for high-precision manufacturing.”
