Hinduja Tech completes acquisition of German Tescosim

The acquisition will help Hinduja Tech expand its presence in the European market and improve its operational efficiencies, the company said in a statement.

Indian heavy commercial vehicle maker Ashok Leyland’s subsidiary, Hinduja Tech, completed the acquisition of Tecosim Group, a German automotive engineering firm providing sustainable mobility solutions., the company said while not disclosing the financial details.

Hinduja Tech, which offers digital and product engineering solutions to the mobility industry, is a part of the multi-billion dollar transnational Hinduja Group.

The acquisition will help Hinduja Tech expand its presence in the European market and improve its operational efficiencies, the company said in a statement.

Hinduja Tech is a part of the multi-billion-dollar Hinduja Group and is the integrated product engineering and digital technologies solutions provider for the mobility industry.

Tecosim Group brings considerable depth of innovation and talent to the Hinduja Tech family.

Kumar Prabhas, CEO of Hinduja Tech Ltd, said, “We are delighted to have Tecosim Group join the Hinduja Tech family, adding that the group’s “virtual validation and body engineering expertise perfectly complements” Hinduja Tech’s existing capabilities.

Udo Jankowski, managing director of the Tecosim Group headquartered in Wiesbaden, Germany, said, “Their (Hinduja Tech’s) global reach and industry expertise, coupled with our technical strengths, create a winning combination.”

With over 650 employees in the UK, Germany, Romania, Japan, and India, Tecosim will bring expertise and innovative solutions to Hinduja Tech, which works with leading mobility players in North America, Europe, APAC, and India, the statement added.
