Here are the top picks for your weekend binge:

Renfield (English)

Inspired by Bram Stoker’s Dracula, this action-horror comedy subverts the tale and places us in present-day New Orleans, where Dracula’s familiar, i.e. his servant Renfield, must figure out a way out of his co-dependent relationship with his narcissistic boss.

Tired of rounding up bodies for him to drain, Renfield finds his way into an emotional support group for people in unhealthy and codependent relationships, and relates a little too much to all of their struggles, recognizing patterns in his own bond with the Transylvanian Count.

Dracula wants Renfield to be the embodiment of evil and an extension of himself into the human world. Renfield, however, wants a break-up.

A gory knee-slapper, this film promises to entertain you in an honest and lighthearted way, making for a perfect weekend watch.
