Britain’s King Charles III and Queen Camilla departed for London on Tuesday morning after staying at the holistic health center in Whitefield for the last three days, informed a representative from the center. It was a private visit of the Britain’s royal couple.

The royal couple had arrived at Soukya International Holistic Health Centre spread over 30 acres in Whitefield on 27 October. A representative of the center who wish not to be quoted said that it was Queen Camilla’s ninth visit and King Charles III’s second visit. The royal couple last visited the center during the Diwali festival in 2019.

The Samethanahalli Health Center representative further added that the royal couple enjoyed their stay. The representative added that the guests visitng the center undergo several sessions including holistic treatments and yoga classes starting at 7:20 a.m. and depart to their rooms at 9 p.m.

It was the royal couple’s first visit to India after King Charles III’s coronation on 6 May 2023 and Queen Elizabeth’s passing on 8 September 2022.

Quoting sources familiar with the royal couple’s itinerary, Indian Express reported that King Charles flew directly to Bengaluru from Samoa after attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting. The royal couple was on their first official tour to Australia and Samoa after the coronation ceremony.

As the nature of their visit to center was private, the government representatives did not receive the British royal couple at the HAL airport in Bengaluru and they were directly escorted to the wellness resort in Samethanahalli founded by Dr. Issac Mathai.
