Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal has launched a business-t0-business (B2B) e-commerce startup named OppDoor, his second entrepreneurial venture, Moneycontrol reported.

The platform, which will help e-commerce firms grow their global footprint by offering end-to-end solutions, is registered in Singapore and was earlier called Three State Ventures Pte Ltd,  the report said.

On LinkedIn, OppDoor describes itself as “a team of experienced e-commerce experts and former entrepreneurs who have worked with and led top global e-commerce brands. We exclusively partner with leading private label brands to unlock their business potential.”

“Our comprehensive range of premium services optimizes advertising strategies, streamlines operations, enhances catalogues, provides complete seller central management, and equips you with ongoing competitive intelligence,” it said, adding, “Our high-performance software engineering teams develop customized, on-demand tools tailored to meet your specific business and brand requirements.”

On the professional networking platform, OppDoor lists “e-commerce, Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, online selling, marketplace operations, and seller central management” as its areas of expertise.

Its website said OppDoor is a managed services platform for global expansion, adding that brands looking to expand globally “require an understanding of local markets, customer behaviors, taxation, and compliances, and extensive partnerships with third-party vendors.”

OppDoor said on its website that will take care of all the heavy lifting on behalf of brands, such as understanding local markets and customer behaviors, taxation and compliances, extensive partnership with third party vendors, localized listing and optimization, launch roadmap, and pricing strategy to achieve seamless expansion using Amazon global expansion.

According to the website, the platform will help e-commerce firms look forward to expanding to newer regions by taking care of more significant challenges like possible policy breaches or listing suppressions. The website mentions that this platform will help brands safeguard their Amazon operations and explore newer sales channels.

Sachin and Binny Bansal (not related), both IIT graduates and co-founders of Flipkart, hit the headlines in 2018 after India’s biggest e-commerce firm, Flipkart, was acquired by Walmart in 2018 for $16 billion.

The Bansals founded Flipkart from a small apartment in Bangalore in 2007. Starting with a small inventory of books, they sold their products locally. After several ups and downs, Flipkart expanded its product offerings and delivery network, and began offering cash delivery and easy returns.
