Land of Women (Spanish/English)

This intriguing comedy-drama is inspired by Sandra Barneda’s novel Tierra de las Mujeres, centring around a New York socialite, thrown into chaos when her husband suddenly disappears after a financial scandal. 

With danger lurking Gala must now escape the city with her aging mother, Julia, and rebellious teenager, Kate. Their journey transports them to Julia’s hometown in northern Spain, a place she left behind 50 years ago. 

As they try to build a new life under assumed identities, hidden truths about their family begin to surface, threatening their newfound peace.

Fancy Dance (English)

This movie follows Jax, a woman on the Seneca-Cayuga Native-American reservation in Oklahoma. After her sister Tawi disappears under mysterious circumstances, Jax becomes the guardian of her young niece. Hustling her way through life, Jax keeps them afloat, doing more than enough to get by. But their bond is threatened when Roki’s white grandparents seek custody. 

Determined to keep their family together, Jax makes the bold decision to take Roki to a state powwow, a celebration of Native-American and First Nations cultures. As they go through the celebrations, Jax searches for clues about Tawi’s disappearance and fights for their future.

My Lady Jane (English)

This drama series centers around the true story of Lady Jane Grey, England’s ill-fated “Nine Days’ Queen,” the name given to her after she was beheaded just 9 days after becoming the Queen of England, at the young age of 17. 

Thrust into the treacherous world of Tudor politicking, a nerdy Jane finds herself betrothed by her power-hungry mother to the infuriating Guildford Dudley, a man with a mysterious past. 

With whispers of a plot to assassinate Jane’s sickly cousin, King Edward, and steal the crown, Jane must navigate a court riddled with intrigue and deadly schemes.

The Whirlwind (Korean)

Savage Beauty Season 2 (English/Southern Sotho)

The South African drama returns for its second season, as the Bhengu family’s power struggle intensifies.
