ValueQuest Investment Advisors has invested 70 crore ($8.4 million) for a minority stake in infertility treatment provider Sabine Hospital and Research Centre.

The firm, which entered the private equity (PE) industry last year, made the investment through ValueQuest Scale.  The PE fund was launched in February 2023.

Founded by Sabine Sivadasan in 2010, the hospital chain specialises in reasonable infertility treatment, mother and child care for people residing in Kerala and neighbouring states.

The firm based in Muvattupuzha offers services in infertility, assisted reproductive technology, pediatrics, general surgery, and genetics.

“Sabine is an organically built asset with industry leading profitability in the infertility, mother and childcare treatment space. The facility is run by highly skilled medical professionals,” Pushkar Jauhari, managing director and head, ValueQuest private equity said in a statement.
