Online astrology consulting services provider Astrotalk has raised around $14 million (₹110 crore) in a funding round led by Elev8 Venture Partners.

Elev8 Venture Partners said it invested ₹55 crore in a mix of primary and secondary investments. The round also saw participation from New York’s Left Lane Capital.

The deal values the company at around $300 million, Moneycontrol reported.

Astrotalk said it will utilize the fresh capital infusion to expand its product portfolio, improve its regional languages services, and expand its global presence.

Commenting on the funding, Astrotalk founder Puneet Gupta said, “We are advancing our growth plans, and soon Astrotalk will not only be a category leader in India but also on the global stage”.

In February, New York-based venture capital firm Left Lane Capital had invested $20 million in Astrotalk’s maiden institutional funding round.
