TCS signs 7-year deal with Danish firm Ramboll 

TCS will modernize the architecture firm’s IT system to help the company grow and reduce IT costs

TCS signs 7-year deal with Danish firm Ramboll

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) has signed a multimillion-dollar strategic partnership with Danish architecture and engineering firm Ramboll to provide IT services, including an end-to-end transformation of its digital infrastructure.

Over the next seven years, TCS will modernize and streamline Ramboll’s IT operating model to drive business growth and optimize the IT cost base. 

TCS said it will also deliver services to manage Ramboll’s cloud and data centers, application development and maintenance, cybersecurity, and digital workplace.

The company did not disclose fithe nancial details of the deal.

Thomas Angelius, chief information officer at Ramboll, said, “Our company has experienced remarkable growth. To continue our upward trajectory, we recognized the need for a trustworthy partner who can help us build a standardized, scalable IT platform that allows for innovation, and is agile enough to foster creativity.”

“We are thrilled to have chosen TCS, a proven expert in large-scale complex digital transformations, for this global project,” Angelius said.

Operating across 35 countries and with a revenue of more than Danish krone 17 billion ($2.5 billion), Ramboll offers sustainable solutions to enterprises. 

TCS will help reduce costs and realize economies of scale within Ramboll’s IT business by streamlining and consolidating the tech architecture and operations structure. 

As part of this strategic partnership, TCS will also induct more than 300 Ramboll IT employees in 12 countries.

A part of the Tata group, India’s largest multinational business group, TCS operates in 55 countries. The company generated consolidated revenues of $27.9 billion in the fiscal year to March 2023. 

TCS has been in Denmark for over 30 years, and has been consistently ranked as one of the top employers in the country.
