Goldman Sachs is considering investing up to $50 million in Bengaluru-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) firm MoEngage through a secondary transaction, The Economic Times reported.

The potential funding comes amid increasing deal activity in late-stage startups such as Whatfix, Innovaccer, Icertis, Atlan, and Rocketlane.

Goldman may buy shares from MoEngage’s early shareholders, the report said, citing a person aware of the negotiations.

The marketing-focused software company was last valued at $700 million following a $77 million funding round led by Goldman Sachs and B Capital.
