Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli foray into event promotion with Nisarga
Nisarga will curate special segments in existing IPs as well as develop and create new platforms
Celebrity power couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have expanded their entrepreneurial portfolio as they launched a new venture, Nisarga, focusing on promoting high-impact events and intellectual properties (IPs).

Nisarga’s first project involves a partnership with Elite Octane, a specialized company known for its motorsports and entertainment events. Elite Octane boasts an array of IPs, including ‘The Valley Run.’
Elite Octane will be instrumental in executing various activities and creating new platform segments, especially in the domains of motorsports and entertainment, the company said in a statement. Elite Octane’s event calendar already features three motor sporting events, expos, a music concert, and innovative youth-connect programs.
Terming Nisarga an embodiment of their values and vision, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, in a joint statement, said, “Nisarga’s initiatives will promote these perspectives, the impact of which will be seen as we embark on this journey and execute these on the ground, through engaging experiences so that we leave behind more than what we were given.”
The top management of the company includes Taha Coburn Kutay as CEO, responsible for global operations and strategic partnerships; Shivank Sidhu, overseeing strategic marketing, events, and alliances; and Ankur Nigam, serving as COO, responsible for finance, legal, and transactions.
This venture marks a significant step in Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s journey as entrepreneurs, adding another chapter to their extensive portfolio of businesses.
The couple has together or individually invested across sectors like health, insurance, and travel. This includes Rage Coffee, Blue Tribe, Sport Convo, Universal Sportsbiz, Galactus Funware Technology, Digit, and Chisel Fitness. Besides, Kohli owns several startup brands such as restobar chain One8 Commune, fine dining bar and restaurant Nueva, and a sportswear brand Puma One8.
Anushka Sharma also founded and runs film production and distribution company Clean Slate Filmz together with her brother.
