Trent to open first Zudio store abroad in Dubai next month: report
The store will come up at the Silicon Oasis Mall in the Emirate
The Noel Tata-led fashion and lifestyle retail operator Trent Ltd will open its first overseas Zudio store in Dubai next month, The Economic Times reported, citing people aware of the matter.
The store will come up at Dubai’s Silicon Oasis Mall.
Tagging the move as a baby step, a senior Trent official told the paper that the firm will open more stores in different geographies considering the response to this store.
In FY24, the company reported a total income of ₹12,277.49 crore ($11.48 billion) and profit before taxes of ₹1,873.32 crore ($225 million). The bulk of Trent’s business comes from its brands Westside and Zudio.
As of March, Zudio had 545 stores across the country, while Westside operated 229 outlets. Combined with other brands, Trent’s total portfolio consists of about 800 stores.
In the company’s annual report released earlier this year, the company said a wholly owned subsidiary, Trent Global Trading LLC (TGTL), had been incorporated in Dubai, UAE.
