Trump Towers Hyderabad eyes $440 million sales in South India debut

Tribeca Developers and Ira Realty on Tuesday, 11 August, formally unveiled Trump Towers Hyderabad and disclosed plans to invest about ₹2,000 crore, or $210 million, in the luxury housing development, which could generate as much as ₹4,200 crore, or $440 million, in sales.

The companies have opened expressions of interest for priority allocations ahead of the formal sales launch, according to a launch announcement carried by ANI.

The development marks the Trump real estate brand’s first project in South India and its eighth announced project in the country.

The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) had registered Trump Towers Hyderabad by June under Ira The Edge Developers LLP. The RERA record puts the site at 16,389.76 square meters in Kokapet and gives a scheduled completion date of 15 May 2031.

Tribeca founder Kalpesh Mehta told reporters that construction would require about ₹1,700 crore to ₹1,800 crore, excluding the land. He valued the land at roughly ₹250 crore, putting the total investment at about ₹2,000 crore. Tribeca expects sales realization of between ₹3,500 crore and ₹4,200 crore.

Apartments will start at about ₹5 crore, or $524,000. Mehta said eight of the project’s 16 penthouses had already been sold for a combined ₹250 crore, with one fetching ₹62 crore, or about $6.5 million.

Trump Towers Hyderabad will be built on about four acres on Golden Mile Road in Kokapet, one of the main high-end residential markets in western Hyderabad. The project will comprise two 65-storey towers with about 450 residences and a total developable area of roughly 2.2 million sq ft.

The towers are planned to rise about 800 feet and will be connected by a suspended sky bridge at the 28th floor. A Trump Club will sit above the bridge and extend across the two buildings, according to the launch announcement.

The development will include 3.5-bedroom and four-bedroom residences as well as double-height simplex homes. Private lift lobbies and floor-to-ceiling glazing are among the features announced by the developers.

Mehta said the towers would reach about 240 meters and claimed they would become both the tallest Trump-branded towers in India and the tallest residential towers in South India.

The Hyderabad project uses the Trump name under a licensing arrangement rather than being developed directly by the Trump Organization.

Marketing material for the project identifies Ira The Edge Developers LLP as the developer and promoter and says the Trump name and trademarks are used under license from DT Marks Hyderabad LLC.

The arrangement follows the model used for other Trump-branded developments in India. The Trump Organization’s own website states that its Mumbai and Delhi NCR properties are developed by local companies using the Trump name under licensing agreements.

Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization, said India remained “one of the world’s most exciting luxury real estate markets” and described Hyderabad as a rapidly growing city.

Trump-branded real estate has expanded rapidly in India over the past decade. Tribeca says it brought the brand to the country in 2014. Of the eight projects announced so far, four have been completed in Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata and Gurugram, while projects have also been announced in Noida and elsewhere.

The Hyderabad launch follows a strong response to Trump Residences Gurgaon last year. The Trump Organization said all 298 homes in that project were allotted on its launch day in May 2025, generating ₹3,250 crore in sales.

Mehta was also asked on Tuesday whether strains in India-US relations could affect demand for a project carrying the US president’s family name. He said Tribeca had seen no such impact, arguing that the Trump real estate brand had operated in India long before Donald Trump’s current presidency.
