The tourism department of Ajman, the smallest member of the United Arab Emirates, this week showcased its unique tourism offerings in roadshows held across three cities in India.

A team from the Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD), led by director general Mahmood Khaleel Al Hashmi, met investors and investment companies in the tourism sector in India.

In a flurry of meetings that were held in Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Mumbai, the team pitched the relatively calm and relaxed emirate as an attractive investment destination. The emirate is a budding economy and boasts museums, beautiful beaches, and shopping complexes

The team from ADTD also met with officials and operators in the tourism sector to discuss avenues for cooperation aimed at cementing Ajman’s unique position on the global tourism map.

The delegation also showcased the emirate’s unique cultural heritage and rapid economic transformation over the past few years.

“India is vital for us, showing a rising number of visitors to Ajman. We continue to offer top-notch experiences and services to both business and leisure travelers,” ADTD’s Al Hashmi said

“We’re pleased with how well this roadshow went. It’s a step toward sustaining tourism growth and drawing international investments to Ajman. All of this aligns with our goals to diversify Ajman’s economy effectively,” he added.
